This article refers to Ticketure’s 'out of the box' eCommerce solution and the image requirements/suggestions needed for clear/sharp rendering of images, logos for all interfaces. Any variations or custom development or adjustments to this version could impact the below image recommendations.
Style Requirements
Usually, it is easiest for Ticketure's web dev team to scrape your logo, brand colors, fonts & favicon from your marketing website. So you can just provide us the URL for that.
If you have a brand or style guide handy, you can provide that too. Note however that such guides are usually more detailed and thorough than what Ticketure supports for themes.
You can provide the following if Ticketure should use any different branding from the marketing website.
- Logo, preferably in an SVG vector format. If your logo is not available or appropriate for a vector format, please provide a high-resolution logo in the most horizontal (shortest & widest) layout. This is to optimize screen space on mobile devices.
- 1-2 primary brand colors. We'll ignore additional brand colors.
- Favicon; A square PNG; E.g. 64x64px
- Fonts; If we've agreed to support custom fonts for your theme, please provide 1-2 fonts or:
- Link to Google Fonts
- Adobe Typekit source link or package ID
- We can also use our own Typekit account if you provide the name
- Font files in WOFF2 format.
Image Specs and Locations
Logo
Location: Header of eCommerce Page
We have no minimum or maximum dimensions for logos. What we do ask for is the logo in landscape orientation as we find portrait logos (logos where the height of the logo is greater than the width) to be problematic, especially if the difference between height and width is significant. Portrait logos create taller headers and can make the header unreasonably big or to make the logo work in a standard header, the logo unreasonably small.
Therefore, we request a landscape orientated logo (in most cases this is the main logo for clients) in a vector format with transparent background if possible. This file format can be SVG, EPS, PDF or AI and can be supplied at any size as they will scale without loss of quality. The clients in-house design or marketing team should be able to provide at least one of those files. If the previous formats are unavailable, secondary formats that are accepted are PNG or JPG. These secondary formats do not scale well, so if they can be supplied at the maximum size the client has available then we can resize it optimally for the designs.
If the client has a desktop version of the logo and a simplified version for mobile, then the mobile version should be supplied as we can support it. The same requirements apply.
