With the introduction of Stripe terminal for iOS in October ‘19, the release of POS build 2.2.5 introduced the ability for Ticketure customers to leverage the more stable implementation of Card Present processing as compared to the Miura’s which was currently the only hardware available to process card-present transactions through Stripe.
The following outlines the setup and configuration needed to leverage Stripe Terminal for Ticketure.
Devices and Configuration Links
Stripe Terminal currently supports 3 different options for hardware. The Verifone P400, the M2 Reader mobile solution, and the BBPOS WisePOS E (details below). Video instructions here.
Verifone P400 | |
|
End of Life October 1st, 2024 The Verifone P400 is a robust device that many customers will be comfortable using and can be customized with branding on the home screen to match that of the customer. It supports chip, swipe, contactless, Google, and Apple Pay options as well as Debit PIN capture. |
M2 Reader | |
|
The M2 Reader is a rechargeable mobile card reader which will be used for Mobile POS but also can be used for POS stations who want a smaller footprint and do not require any PIN capture capabilities. They can be shipped with double-sided sticky tape which enables sticking directly to a scanner or back of an iPad for secure processing or an optional weighted dock for a convenient countertop checkout experience. While docked it can be used with a charging cable to keep the reader fully charged. |
BBPOS WisePOS E | |
|
The BBPOS WisePOS E is a 5" IPS display device with a capacitive touch screen smart reader solution. The BBPOS WisePOS E will be the non-mobile hardware choice for POS stations leveraging Ticketure. It supports chip, swipe, contactless, Google, and Apple Pay options as well as Debit PIN capture. Also included is the dock which provides hardwired ethernet connectivity and keeps your smart reader fully charged for all-day use. |
